Glasgow real estate data analytics platform intends to create 50 jobs, following a £5 million investment

GLASGOW: Following a £5 million loan from the Scottish National Investment Bank, a Glasgow-based data analytics company plans to hire 50 new employees. (Reported by news source)

Utopi, which specializes in energy usage monitoring technology, plans to use the bank's assistance to expand into new worldwide markets.

The sustainability startup is assisting the shift to Net Zero and Scotland's tech economy by providing real-time and actionable environmental data in multi-tenant buildings.

According to data, the new Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) system is on track to save over 6,500 tons of carbon from multi-family buildings over the next three years.

This will increase asset value by up to 5% while improving ESG performance by 20%.

"Utopi's technology has a strong alignment with both our Net Zero and Innovation missions, and we look forward to working with them to deliver their ambitious growth plans."
