La Jolla’s expansive Foxhill estate is positioned to make local real estate history
Manchester: The property which spans over a colossal 30-acres has been listed for sale at $49 million, making it the highest-priced residence ever sold in San Diego County, reported a news source.
The massive estate consists of the rustic Foxhill mansion, which completed its construction in the year 1959. The mansion includes 10 bedrooms, 14 bathrooms, additional guest houses, a pool, a walking trail, and lastly a garage parking capable of holding 12 cars.
Two additional “development” sites are the Romero sites and another off-Country Club Drive.
The Romero site sits atop a massive 22.4 acres of land, which is lush with native vegetation and an additional about four developable acres. A conceptual plan for this land has been developed and presented which foreshadows the construction of a 20,000-square-foot-home. The house will consist of six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, two powder rooms, a gym, a game room, a theater, and a guest house.
The Country Club site has already been given a permit for the 1.77 acres of land it presides over. This property will initiate the construction of its envisioned plan in 6 months, which consists of a 10,000-square-foot, six-bedroom, six-bath home with a pool and a garage.
The properties can either be bought together or separately. All three sites will cost $49 million whereas the Foxhill home and the 6.24 acres of surrounding land will cost $28 million. The Romero site is available for $24 million, whereas the country club will cost $8 million.
