East of England's priciest street is located in Cambridge

The most expensive average property price streets in England and Wales are listed in Halifax's annual survey. This led to the discovery that Cambridge was home to the most expensive street in the East of England.

Given that Chaucer Road is located near Cambridge's "Millionaires Row," many people have probably already heard of it. Grand, opulent detached homes, many of which are far over £3 million, can be seen on these streets.

The size of the properties is not even mentioned. It is easy to understand why the typical home price in this area is around £4 million given the variety of enormous, eye-catching residences that line the road.

In the past, Chaucer Road was identified as Cambridge's priciest street for the year. With these two acknowledgements, there is little indication that this will change any time soon.
