Oxford: Final two of the four phases of major housing development in Oxford, including its layout and appearance have been approved by councilors, reported a news source.

Barton Park initiated its construction work in the midst of 2015. It sought to provide the residents of the area with 885 houses, while 354 of the total would be classified as the ‘affordable units’.

Countryside Properties has been granted the task of the final 434 houses on the estate. The first homes built by that developer will complete their construction in the next year. The project was approved by the city council’s planning committee which approved the reserved matters during a meeting for its final stages that was held on Tuesday. Two and three-storey houses will be available which will consist of 3 and 5-bedroom units. The countryside also plans upon including a shopping center in the housing plan.
