As housing demand increases, a new real estate hotspot has been identified in Edinburgh

EDINBURGH: According to recent data, home prices in Edinburgh have increased, with the city centre reporting a 5.6% increase that resulted in an average selling price of £306,013. (Reported by news source)

In a recent analysis by real estate experts ESPC, it was found that two-bedroom apartments sold for an average of £306,013 in Edinburgh City between October 2022 and December 2022. A new hub for purchasers, though, has emerged.

Many people have looked at places like Leith and Corstorphine for individuals who want access to the city centre but are eager to escape the high rates. According to the ESPC data, Leith and Dunfermline had the largest numbers of real estate sales, followed by Corstorphine.

It is not surprising that East Fife and Dunfermline saw some of the largest price rises over the past three months given the increasing property demand in Fife.

Although the full effects of these changes won't be felt until 2023, buyers are still willing to spend much more than the Home Report value to obtain their ideal homes in Edinburgh, the Lothians, Fife, and the Borders.
